What do you mean by 'wiped by DVD'??
If you used a restore/recovery DVD to wipe it, that should either have returned you to the point at which the recovery DVDs were burnt, or maybe to the factory-fresh condition off the recovery partition on the hard drive.
That is, I'm assuming it wasn't just a DVD containing one file: format.exe ?
Otherwise, it sounds like you will need operating system installation media, in CD, DVD or USB stick format, to boot your computer off and follow the installation procedure.

Did your notebook come with recovery DVDs? If not, you are probably dead in the water here. You need the disks to restore from.

It will take longer than an automated repair/recovery, but carries benefits of its own, & I'm still far from clear that that isn't what the OP was actually trying to accomplish in the first place.

I think Smart-Girl refers to the massive SSD confusion about TRIM and secure erase stuff.
In any case, just wipe your drive / delete partitions and reinstall from scratch/ use recovery disks and you are all set - new partitions will be created in the windows setup routine.

Are these recovery DVDs the ones you referred to in your first post that you used to wipe the laptop?
