I recently purchased a Y560 with an I-5 and 4GB of PC 8500 Ram. I am going to upgrade it to 8GB while memory prices are low. My question is since this laptop had an optional I-7 quad available running at PC10666, would it be advisable to purchase the higher speed sticks. I am thinking that I may upgrade the CPU to the Quad somewhere down the road. I guess my biggest concern is whether the Gskill PC10600 will cause any conflicts with the I-5's 1066 bus speed.

No, 1333 RAM will automatically downclock to 1066.
